About Me

Hello and welcome to my site, thanks for wanting to read what I am all about, that’s important when you embark on a fitness or health journey.


My start into the fitness world kicked off in my mid 20’s when I was introduced to rugby by my sister in 1995. I’d dabbled a bit in going to the gym but had no idea what I was really doing or why ha ha. The day I was introduced to rugby changed my whole world and thinking. The fitness, training, coaches, team ethic, traveling, confidence high and lows, training in all weathers and the fun socials. But for me it was about being part of a likeminded tribe of women and loving how fitness and movement made me feel. I picked up a few broken bones, but all injuries heal. I witness everyday so many women being held back by their thoughts and fears.


This led me to qualify as a Sports Therapist in 2001 where I helped and guided clients to strengthen and trust their bodies following injury, operations or from mechanical issues. 


But life is about self growth, evolving and stepping out of your safe place which is why my calling was to train as a Fitness Trainer.


I have empowered thousands of women to move, embrace exercise and heal via healthy thinking and of course a healthier diet. I know it’s cliché but I knew I had a gift of being able to communicate and empower people because I am led by my passion to help people value and protect their physical and mental health. I believe hand on heart in the power of movement, good health and staying mobile. I 100% cannot accept that age, conditions or ailments define us because there are always ways to adapt and remove barriers. In reality you would never be able to attend a variety of face to face classes or sample different piece of home equipment in a week.

In Person Group Exercise Classes

Monday 6.30pm
Functional Circuits

I designed functional circuits to show women that they are capable of more when they move. I have been using the best functional equipment out there for years so you will be in very experienced hands. Circuits targets the whole body and will increase your heart rate. It’s a mix of low to high intensity using equipment and body weight exercises. It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or advanced as I can tailor exercise so you progress safely. Each exercise is 30 - 60 secs and the variety of exercises is so motivating. You’ll increase your overall strength, confidence and cardiovascular fitness whilst having fun as you do.

Tuesday 6.30pm
Mat Pilates

Mat Pilates is low impact with slow controlled movements. Pilates is perfect for rehabilitation and improving flexibility. Each exercise lengthens the muscle, improves joint function and enables the deep core muscles to work slowly. If you have back, joint or muscle issues attending regularly can improve and eradicate these problems. Lastly Pilates relaxes the mind, lowers stress and improves circulation. I believe everyone should try a session. It does not matter where you are starting from as Pilates is all about layering and choosing what works for you. I’ll guide you every step of the way.

Friday 7am
Metafit (HIIT)

Metafit really is the workout which just gets it done and leaves you totally set up for the day. It’s a high intensity workout of just 22 minutes using body weight exercises. You’ll move in every direction for 18 - 30 sec bursts. There are low options for every exercise such as press ups, squats and planks so this is suitable for all levels. Metafit will improve fitness and agility is great for fat burning.

Monthly Sunday

JB Parkfit 9am

Join me every month for a motivating outdoor workout which I designed to include short cardio bursts and achievable body weight exercises. We move around the park and there is no pressure to keep up with anyone. We use what is around us such as a wall, bench or step, I even bring a ball. It’s 50 minutes and everyone is so encouraging. Parkfit is for all levels of fitness as I can tailor on the spot for you with no judgement.
